KCBT has given me the opportunity to become a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and as that sounds like an evil thing, it’s the best thing for my career at this very moment. You see, I don’t have any job experience in the field I want to advance in other than what KCBT has provided me in the past year and to get anywhere, you need years of experience and/or certifications.
This MCSE is arguably better than a bachelors degree for the occupations I’m interested in.
Over the next few months, I’ll be studying a few books and preparing for what I’ve heard to be a very hard set of tests. I know it will be pretty rough at times, but I’m sure my love for computers (that isn’t as strong as my love for my wife…whew!) and technology will help motivate me to get through this.
I posted all this to keep my reader up to date as well as instill some extra compatibility for when I cry and throw the Micro$oft books at the wall. If you see me cursing Micro$oft any more than normal, smack me and tell me “you must remain a slave for the man if you want to make it in this world”.
